LifeWay Announces Scott Krippayne in Concert
American Idol Songwriter to sing at Ridgecrest

(Ridgecrest, N.C.)— Singer, songwriter and pianist Scott Krippayne will perform a special concert at Ridgecrest Conference Center on Friday night, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. A limited number of complimentary tickets (a $20.00 value for general admission) will be available at LifeWay Bookstores, and on the SomeOne Cares Web site. Scott is notable for winning the 2007 American Idol song contest this past season with his song This is My Now—Jordin Spark’s first single. Krippayne’s also known for writing Sometimes He Calms the Storm and many other familiar Christian songs.

If I’ve learned anything over the past year or two, it’s that I’ve got a long way to go to really make a difference, to be a true follower of Jesus. That’s where I’ve been living lately, trying to sort out what’s really important in life and how to represent Christ in the world. …I can’t pretend to know how or if these songs will impact people, but my hope is that God’s Spirit will reveal what he will to those who will hear. —Scott Krippayne

• Through LifeWay Christian Bookstores
• By calling Ridgecrest at 1.800.588.7222
